Well, I'm him. If we were going to watch the movie would it be on the same night as the discussion or would be set aside a separate social event? If it is separate then I think other movies of interest might be Before Sunset/Sunrise, Waking Life, the Dreamers, The Ex (a.k.a. Fast Track a movie with Zach Braff if anyone is a fan of Garden State or the Last Kiss this is completely different, its a comedy)and if we wanted to keep things more conversational I got the Monterey Pop Festival too which could be a nice background for mingling. Of course this could all just be a kind of 19 year old's phase where I am a sucker for revolutionary movements and romanticism. Since that is most likely the case I think we should come up with a solid list of possible movies.

I downloaded the movie and so if anyone is interested I can burn copies or we could have a movie night once everyone had finished.
Cool--so far it's gotten good reviews from the pretentious film nerds that populate my life.
